12-year-old girl In police custody Over The Murder Of Chris Msando.Here’s Why
A 12-year-old girl will be remanded for seven days while investigations into the heinous murder of the late Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) manager of ICT Chris Msando continue.
This is after the Kiambu Juvenile Court on Thursday, August 22 morning placed her in custody at the Muthaiga Police Station as detectives continue to probe.
It is alleged by the police that the young girl’s was used to send threatening messages to the slain Msando. The messages were sent a month before he was murdered.
On August 3, 2017, Inspector General of Police, Joseph Boinnet, said that police had recorded statements from six people and were still hunting down four others over the murder of IEBC’s ICT boss.
Msando’s body was found maimed and dumped alongside that of Ms Maryanne Carol Ngumbu at Muguga Forest in Kikuyu, Kiambu County on Saturday, July 29, 2017 after they wwere reported missing by their families.
According to the autopsy report, Msando was strangled to death by bare hands while Carol was strangled with the use of a rope.
