Babu Owino Speaks For The First Time After Being Jailed

Embakasi MP Babu Owino has spoken for the first time after being apprehended today,25th September,by 10 CID officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)

Taking to his official social media pages,the former Student questioned how his offensive utterances he made during a NASA rally in Kawangware amounted to hate speech.

“How does my sentiments amount to incitement to violence?Police should stop acting under duress and undue influence just coz they want to please their masters.Useless investigations.”Babu said.

Babu further thanked the NASA leaders and friends who paid him a visit at the DCI headquarters along Kiambu Road-where he was being held.
