Former Bomet Governor Issac Rutto has for the first time revealed he has been upto after losing his seat during the August 8th elections.
The former NASA co-principal stated that he has embarked on serving the community and handling personal matters.
“I just want to recoup in the lost time with my family and continue with my businesses.
I want to assist locals to farm through cooperative societies, especially in the dairy sector which has great potential in the region,” Ruto was quoted by Nation.
According to the Chama Cha Mashinani leader, doing community volunteer work is a form of giving back to the community.
He now shuttles between his homes in Tumoi, Chepalungu, Kericho, and Nairobi where he runs various businesses.
Rutto lost his seat to Jubilee’s Joyce Laboso.
After unsuccessfully defending his seat under the National Super Alliance coalition,Rutto switched his allegiance to the Jubilee Party.
